We came home from Copenhagen Games like 2 days ago and we are already leaving Sweden tomorrow for Kiev as the starladder finals are starting on Thursday! So gonna be some busy days a head of us! I'm really looking forward to see Arena again, as I've been there many times for playing 1.6, but this time it'll be something new as we are playing CS:GO now!
So I hope the computers will handle it, as well the monitors! I'm however not liking the idea of playing ONE game per day, even tho it's bo3 WB-LB system with bo5 in the finals (if needed) so it's going to be some day(s) with much down time as we arn't been playing some at all :*( But I hope the time will fly away anyway!
Will we stand as winners this time? We'll see!
After the visit in Ukraine, we're heading to Cologne in Germany for some EMS RaidCall CS:GO playoffs! It will be so much fun to see how the new ESL Studio will look like, as it's been looking amazing on the streams! But it's another thing, seen it in real life! And straight after that tournament, we're going to US for the ESEA Global League which will be a clash between US teams and Europeans one! Gonna be fun to see more of the US teams, and see how well they play as we got more tournaments in Europe then them!
So going to be some busy days a head of us! So hopefuly we arn't that stressed out by it, as we got another tournament in begging of May in France! But that is something I will talk about in some other blog as I'm pretty bad in writting and hopefully some people will not be that bored of my skills or even if u can call it like that :p
Some people may know him as "calc" from playing Counter-Strike in like.. 2004 or something like that, when SK-Gaming had two CS teams (one from Sweden and one from Denmark) and he was playing for the danish team when they came second on ESWC04
Calc is the guy to the right in the back
Anyhow, he's been doing some cool music this days and just released his first music video(I think so at least!) and if you're a bit bored and want to see what a old school player does this days and how good he is in singing, you need to watch this!
Totte! :)
So second blog in two days, must be a record or something... haha!
Anyhow, we are for the moment at Inferno Online in Stockholm bootcamping a bit. As they have fixed a "practise" room for us which we are very glad to get!
We can go here at anytime and just play with the team or other business! Still under construction, so more things will come in!
Another big thing, that happened just.. We just launched our "team site" so we can update our fans abit more closely, except just doing everything on facebook, as we've been doing it alot recently/when we started the team again! So for you guys, you'll get chance to get more personal with us, the players, demos and other things that we will come up with! Anyhow, for you who haven't yet find the adress for our site, it's down below!
Been to long time since I wrote a blog here, so I guess I need to start my little engine of mine and write something!
Anyhow,
Things has been slowly be turning to better (I'm talking about the operation I had in December) I'm right now hearing a bit better then before, but still need to be careful about my ear as I cannot still take a bath normal nor a regular shower :( But according to the Doctor I'm seeing after the operation everything should be much better end of this month (March) So I'm really looking forward to see if it's true or not! As I'm not in the mood to wake up with different hearing level on my left ear!
As for NiP
We've been playing the EMS Winter Season, which was from beginning of December last year till end of February or something like that and we came out as winner of the season after playing against Imaginary in the finals and won 2-0 maps!
After that, we've got invite to play the new CS:GO league that ESL released. EMS RaidCall league which has around 156k dollars in it! The league it self has 4 seasons, so we will see alot of this awesome tournaments ESL has been planing for us this year! However, we need to still qualify for the group stage and the qualifiers are right now and I think we are safe to say we will play the group stage which starts soon! (We will play the last Qualifier that will be tomorrow)
made this in one of the qualifier(s) they had for EMS!
Other then that, we attended our first tournament this year over at Vienna (Mad Catz Invitational) and we came out as winners of the event, but this time we played against another team in the finals, as people were excepting us playing against VeryGames. But, this time they got stop by the new Danish team (former Anexis)) unu.AiN which played amazing during the whole tournament if you ask me!
I'm still glad that we hold our grounds and played well over there, as I feel that teams are catching up (I don't like it!!) and getting better and better for each day. But! We will not give that away easily as we train really hard still and haven't lost the motivation!
fragmovie from the tournament in Vienna!
Anyhow.... We are going into a busy month soon, as we will attend TECHLABS next week in Russia (if we get our Visas and don't get any problems with it!) Directly after that, Copenhagen Games and after that StarLadder finals (if we qualify), NL Lan, ESEA Finals and hopeful EMS Finals! So a busy month will come soon and I'm really looking forward to it! Felt like it was ages ago we were attending a tournament, even tho it was like.. 3 weeks ago? haha..
I will try to sum this up, as I think I've been for most part just talking about nothing at all and less about personal things.. So I will try to give you another blog post soon with more things in my life and such! So.. Till next time!
I'm thinking about 2008, the year before things turned around in my eSport life. I would get a chance to join fnatic.. But that's another story.
In 2008, the year had slowly started good and turned out pretty bad in the end as I had been in school and had problems there with my studies and other things. My dog, Armani, was forced to remove one of his eyes, because he had water in it.. That means that it affected his sight on one of them and it also affected his head, as he pretty much had constant pain in it. So, we had to force him to doctors and they tried to remove the water, and it did get a bit better, but after awhile it came back and we had to come back to remove the whole eye...
I remember that day, it was pretty painful to see my friend in such pain. He couldn't really understand that he couldn't see on his right eye anymore. He felt little lost and I was sad that I couldn't see him happy as he had always been. It took some weeks, maybe months until he was that happy again. That happened around winter if, I'm not mistaken. I hadn't seen him this happy in a long time, as he was jumping around in the snow and trying to "catch" the snowflakes and looked like he had a smile on his face.
Months later, my family saw that he had problems on the other eye. The one that was working. We took him to the veterinary and they told us that he'd probably get the pain back if we didn't remove the eye.. I remember that my bigger brother and mother were really sad to hear the news.. We pretty much understood that we had to put him to sleep to... remove him from the pain, remove him for the suffer that he had, which pretty much means.. removing him from this earth, to a place much better for him. Going to "dog heaven" or whatever you guys want to call it.
I personally think that he went to a place which was better than here with us.. Even if I want him still here, in life and enjoy the good times and such. I think it was the best choice in that moment.. I'm not sure if he wanted to live without sight at all and having problems with walking around, running etc..
I was thinking about those days in 2008, when Armani fell in sleep. Gets me sad about the whole thing, as he was one of my best friend and it comes days when I think about Armani and he reminds me about being happy, instead of thinking about that sad day. As he was one of the happiest dogs I've ever met.
Thanks for everything, Armani <3
Long time ago, I'm not sure what age I was.. Pretty young tho!
Here is one of those few pictures of him without one of the eyes, still happy and looking for something!
I know I would have wrote this before and I know how shitty Iam on updates.. But here is the statement I wrote before, remember that I just wrote this before and that. Aswell, SK-Gaming was supposedly to release this with their announcement with shuting down the CS division.. I'm not sure why they didn't add this with them..
"As one road ends, another opens..
I guess that's the first words that comes up in my mind about leaving
SK-Gaming after 1,5 years in the organization.
Remember back in 2010, when we were supposedly leaving fnatic to make
some sort of "Super team". I couldn't really imagine that Alex would
understand the situation and our past history when I had a spell in SK 2008, beginning of the
year didn't play out as we wanted as we played a poor event in Kiev.
After that problems came up and the rocky road was a head of us. Many roster changes later and when the
summer season came closer and closer, things turned another and we
started the race to be the team of the year, even tho you can try to
talk about who was really the team of the year (polish guys, if u ask
me.)
When I think back on my time in SK, it was a time to grow as person,
as a player and even challenge myself in areas that I haven't been
used to. I could easily been talking more about things that people
have heard about it or seen.
But that I leave to the teammates I had, the organization and those
players we played through the years. One thing I can promise, this
isn't the end for me as a Player, as I'm attending a local LAN in
Manchester this weekend with some friends
and hope you can look at the HLTVs and enjoy some cool action, as I
don't want to end up as a disappointment for people who've been
following me through the years.
Thanks for supporting us, to my former teammates and people behind everything (Min-Sik, Alexander and Budak)
I haven't wrote anything in a while, nothing really new.. But those things that have happeened and things to come will come in another blog, not in this one!
Anyway,
I'm personally looking for a movie maker that have time for making video for me, does the drive for it and of course want to earn a little sum of money of it!
I'm not sure how I want things to be done and so, but I would like to get in touch with someone first that is "of course" good enough for it..
So if You think you have what it takes, please send me a message here on fragbite or via my fanpage on facebook
And please mark it (if you can) with "Moviemaker"
Hope you are enjoying the summer and also I will be sorting the message out TONIGHT and probably be replaying then!
** Update **
I will instead of what I wrote before, answering people on Sunday as I'm off tomorrow/Saturday!
Men men.
My friends over at Norton has a pretty nice campaign that can be cool for you guys, You can win a private Body Guard for some hours?! Isn't that something!
Check out the video and aswell their facebook page to know more how you can win the cool prize!
As many people already know, yesterday I released my site which is something sweet for me. As I want to always challenge myself into deep water, which I'm not confident in! So for me thats a big step. www.getright.se is the website named, and just a reminder it's still in a very "unupdate" things on the site, so I'm sorry if you'r getting angry by that! :(
Other thing, we managed to beat SpelFronten and WinFakt yesterday in the eSport SM Groupstage which is even more better! As we needed that confident boost to head ourself into the groupstage that are today. First game is really soon and I hope we can managed to win that game and the two later ones (against ESC&WinFakT).
Anyway, I don't have so much more to say then focus on the games that are up now soon! Hope u guys will like following us on DreamHack, as we want to win this tournament so badly!
"I Sveriges öppningsmatch i EM borde någon – ja, jag tittar på dig Mikael Lustig – ha hållit första stolpen. Det gjorde han inte – så nu håller vi den tillsammans, Sverige. Lägg ut en bild på dig själv hållandes en stolpe på Twitter och hashtagga med #hållenstolpe."
As the Sun is up in Sweden, in May. Showing that we are soon entrying the Summertime.. But that dosen't matter right now, as for today. My father, a big mentor for me. Is having his birthday today. He's turning 60 years of age, which is amazing to know! As being his youngest son of the family. I'm very happy to see my father still is very happy and having a wonderful wife as he has (my mom!) So this is just a small "shoutout" to my father!
You've learned me so much in life and u still are doing that, I just want to thank u for always being there for me!
Happy birthday Dad!
This picture was taking some year ago, it's from the fragbite galleries as my father have been 'spotted' by fragbite :p
As the qualifers to the main tournament it still going on, I'm siting here and looking at the stream and enjoy some music from Queen - 'Flash' song. In the sametime, getting my mindset ready for the challenges that's up for us tomorrow, Saturday.
Looking at the tournament, it has some good teams and some dark horses in the tournament as well. So for people who are really "bored" on Saturday, it's definitivt tomorrow a day to be bored on, to enjoy some awesome CS matches!
Haven't so much to say right now, as I haven't prepared myself as I wanted for this tournament, so I have to give my all today to be at least little satisfied for my preparation.
So cya tomorrow those people who are swinging by Inferno Online and have nice Friday night ))
Thorin from SK-Gaming, has just released his second part of the match between Na`Vi vs ESC on tuscan, this game between the teams were really important to Na`Vi as they were FORCED to win the match to qualify for the playoffs, here u can see how the made it, even when they were down big numbers!
Haven't really said anything for a while now, at least it feels that for me! Anyway, been playing a LOT of CS:GO! Been really fun to find a decent gather channel on iRC with people trying out things and so on! So, I've seen that maxaki been doing a small blog regarding new things that u can do inside of the game! As well, for those lazy gamers who dosen't want to spend hours on get that good nades, this is a small help hand so to say!
Remember as well to check out his video-guide on Youtube!
Haven't wrote anything for a while now, and I thought I need to write about something today! We've been in Copenhagen since Tuesday now, and three days ago we attended the CS:GO tournament they had here and actually won it! Kinda cool if u ask me! CS:GO is really fun if u ask me! And I think my teammates feels the same.
Other then that, we haven't done so much since then. Played the groupstage and our first WB match and won everyone of them! Which is good for our own confidence to be able to play better!
some i-views I made at the event!
Those two are more about CS:GO then really the 1.6 tournament over here.
I'll be giving writing more soon, so stay tuned! :)
** That kinda sucks.. Nothing to say then I'm really sorry about our performance here..
Also, thanks to Niklas Fischier, heat-gaming, HeatoN and benQ for letting us borrow their monitors and computers during the event!
I've been streaming alot this two days now, so I've also answered people on IRC alot! And today, I got this message. Pretty nice fan if u ask me! :)
(20:17:23) (PJOSiX) you still there?
(20:17:29) (SK|GeT_RiGhT) yeah
(20:17:29) (SK|GeT_RiGhT) ;)
(20:17:30) (PJOSiX) i wanna say some words :)
(20:17:44) (PJOSiX) Well, I just want to say that youre a great player with Patrick and trace, you know a lot of small details of the game, your aim is a.. indescribably.
(20:17:51) (PJOSiX) You're higher on a level than disgusted zeus, starix-balls, or rather a primitive markeloff.
(20:17:54) (PJOSiX) Know that you r the best, your whole team.
(20:17:57) (PJOSiX) And even if you lose - you're the winners, just a little bit of luck. You, SK, - a real team, not "mix" of the best players in da country (like m5, navi).
(20:18:00) (PJOSiX) Know this, in any case, you all loved by us and you must believe the best, because the real competition except the Poles, I dont see.
I've just was slowly searching around on Youtube on videos, I really like some videos and this is two of today's videos I overcome on the web!
The first video is the start of a small series that MER, like a small introduction so to say.. I don't want to tell to much but I think my topic said it all, check it out!
Men Emil,
So, the last episode of my full interview with Thorin from SK-Gaming has just been released (hours, to be right) But, if u haven't seen it, u can see it below!
10.26 : Been here around 30~ minutes now, just got things setuped up here and already a bad thing happended to us.. Martins keyboard just broke, so we have to find a new one as we dont really have extra ones with us (( Other then that, Im feeling pretty pumped about the game and looking forward to play against the poles! Hope u guys will cheer for us :)
Martin, Johan and me during the relegation matches. Watching NaVi vs fnatic
11.25 An pre-interview, very short one with HLTV.org, you can see it under this post!
14.20 After a bad play on nuke, we took over and won mirage with style! Up next is train! Gonna be an epic final map!
15.46 Nothing to say.. I dont have any words for this.. Trying to shake it off... Anyway.. Were going to face lions now.. Wish us luck...
Gonna be try out something new, Like a 'live' blog and update it instead of posting up different kind of blogs today! Anyway...!
We arrived here around 0820, the setup looks pretty nice and gonna be cool to play the games here! (Pictures comes later)
first update of the day,
'The power' of the table just went out, we dont know how much delay we will get. But for the moment we just have _1_ computer up and running, so this sucks for the moment.. I dont think the game will start on time. But be ready anyway :) Meanwhile, u can enjoy my interview with fragbite about different topics (In Swedih!!!)
09.26 : The power is workning now, we are going get live soon I think, cannot really say when or so. but the admins says in 5 minutes! Cheer for us guys, we really need it!
11.07 : Some minutes ago we played against NaVi, played good in the beginning but then somehow we didnt get the rounds as we should as CT. As T we started to play our own game and got up to 15-14, unlucky for us. NaVi placed 5 guys on b1, where we were heading to and lost the last round to get a tie. Better then a lost I guess?
12.08 : Nothing is going on for us right now, waiting for the Anexis vs Tyloo game to be over so we could play against the danes! I think that Martin, wants to win against his country men!
12.39 : Anexis vs tyloo game just ended, 13-16 to tyloo, so gonna start _ASAP_ just so u know! The map is gonna be forge! Exciting!
13.48 : Just won over Anexis, kinda nice to bring the game pretty easy there. Won a eco against them which were really weird haha. Up next is mousesports soon!
Another interview with me, this time with ESL. About whatever he had, check it out!
14.04 : Gonna be playing against mousesports on forge (again) for us!
15.15 : AH YEAH! Sweet victory over mousesports there, amazing played by Martin and Robban there. So nice after that terrible start! Next up is ESC.. Gonna be tuff! Also, pretty random to see tyloo own NaVi like that :o...!
16.11 : I dont have so much words right now, just joy and happiness. Awesome feeling to win over the polish guys! After a super good half as T on train, we won the important pistol round and finished the game with 16-4! Gonna play tyloo after they are done with their match!
16.49 : So, after tyloo won and navi as well. The group are pretty "unsafe" still, everything happens now who are going to be 1st,2nd or 3rd for that reason even! Anyway, we are going to play train soon against the chinese guys! So be ready to help us to win this game and cheer for us!!
18.12 : So, just a short round up this. We won over tyloo pretty easy. Won a random eco against them which were just.. yeah I dont have so much to say :p.. that means we placed 1st in the group. While in the NaVi vs ESC game. It ended up with NaVi win 16-14 after being under 14-10 :O.. That was weird! But yeah, sad for tyloo to play a decent tournament, but anyway ended up not qualify to the playoffs! Grats to NaVi to regroup and get themself to playoffs!
So, I will write another blog later on with a "recap" of the day. But I will for now say, Thanks for the support from everyone to make it little bit easier for us to focus! The last update will come later! Peace out for now
Ahhh, just looking at the letters of " IEM: World Championship" is saying it all for the moment. Great tournament, great teams attending, hard groups and meet up with the team!
As the hours are flying away and our last practise day is soon over, we are, from tomorrow going to Germany and getting ready for the tournament on Tuesday.. Gonna be a early waking up on that day as well, as our first game starts at 09:10 (!!) and our opponents for the first game is gonna be Na`Vi as many of you guys know. Tuff game already!
Hopefuly we are ready for it! ;)
Many people have probably wonder how it goes with Martin in the team, it's going smooth and he's starting to get understand pretty much everything we say ingame and we him. As he speaks "danish/swedish" ingame! So I don't think the language barrier is not that big of problem right now for us. Which is good! Other then that, I'm gonna to try to do more V:blogs over there, some random ones as well some serious ones! So stay ready for those ;-)
hopefuly we can see some of this actions ;-)
Other then that, hope u guys will follow us on the first day and cheer for us! We will need it!
Haven't happened so much since we bootcamped, I know. I'm supposed to write a blog about it.. But I'm not finding the best words for it ATM! But I promise, I will write one soonish ;)
Anyway, I'm having a big question regarding the streams (me and f0rest right now) how u like our 'overview' thing and how's the quality on mine and f0rest one. I know that mine is pretty bad, but my internet isn't the best as f0rest ones :(( So for the moment, I cannot really get it better as it is right now...
Other then that. It feels nice that we qualify for the finals of the techlabs cup in Russia later in March! Were facing Na`Vi in the final and will hopefuly be much better then last one in Kiev!
For the moment, I don't have so much more to say then this. So to u guys from me, hope u had a nice weekend!
Haven't said so much after started bootcamping with the team, I'll be doing another blog soon about it! So stay cool about it ;-) Anyway,
I've been starting to get involved with doing some small series of highlights, of course. I'm not the guy who are making them, but still! Give me feedback about it! \\\\o/
As I wrote before, 'HcK' from SK-Gaming has been doing some small recording videos with different kind of matches. As it's pretty much Nation Cup "All the time now", he's been pretty busy with two new ones! The Result is down below.
We've been working abit on streaming part on SK-Gaming and have hired a person to start stream more and help our team to get more involved with streaming (Will come news about personal straeming later) So here is small test of how it could look like!
Got call from Pontus around an hour ago and he got big news when he was calling! Apparently I had more views on my little "video" on Wipeout, the whole month. Then videos like, Zlatan doing a big goal in Serie A and other things that month! That's really huge!!
So I'm really glad and thankful to all the people who watched the video to make this day of mine, much better! ^
Did a interview with Thorin back in ESWC about my past and whatever questions he had on his mind and thought that people might be interested to watch it!
