Hi zonic! How are you today?

I am doing fine! :) It has been quite a long vacation for mTw, so we are motivated for 2011!

During 2010 you brought in ArcadioN to replace Sunde. Did you feel that it was a necessary decision to make?

Tough question. I think ave needed a break from running tactics, and ArcadioN felt motivated and was interested in joining us. The team had difficulties maintaining the motivation during 2010, and switching Sunde out with ArcadioN seemed like the right solution to that problem.

When ArcadioN joined mTw he took the ingame leader role. Can you tell us the difference between your previous ingame leader, ave, and ArcadioN, how are they different from each other?

They are actually pretty similar but it was obvious that ave was tired of that role. ArcadioN brings new inspiration and ideas to the team, and I am proud to play with two of the best tacleaders in the world. However ave still calls sometimes when he gets an idea. And I have always been helping out with the tactics, so we are 3 people "flying this airplane" ;)

During the latter half of 2010 you played some pretty good games. What do you have to say about your own game?

I dont know really. I think it is because I lost some of the motivation back in 2009. We won several major tournaments in 2008 and it is tough to maintain the motivation and keep practising to stay on top. I regret a lot of times back in 2009 and I am just happy that people feel i am back. I hope I can keep repaying the community with more frags!

Yeah, how do you really keep yourself motivated considering you have been a part of the absolute top since 2004?

I keep my self motivated when we travel and get to see the world. I have fantastic teammates, fans and a family that supports me so I want to give something back in return. mTw is the best team in the World you can play for so if I can win a trophy for my team it would mean the world to me. The year of 2009 really boosted my motivation, since we came from a year where we won everything to basically losing it all the year after.

With Intel Extreme Masters European Finals approaching, how have mTw prepared for the event?


Trace: 85hrs, minet 85hrs, zonic: 72hrs, ArcadioN 65hrs, ave 50hrs... Need I say more? - We are really prepared individually. Obviously there are still some parts that can be adjusted etc. but overall I feel pretty confident coming to Kiev. I am really looking forward seeing Kiev, since the people from Ukraine seems really nice and friendly (NaVi! :))


What are your thoughts about the Swedish teams. Which one do you see as the biggest threat?

SK is obviously the team to beat when it comes to Swedish teams. However I believe that fnatic has what it takes to be just as good. We don't know how the SK players will fit together, and cArn and dsn just has something about them when it comes to creating new talents. I am looking forward seeing them both in Kiev, with SK as a tiny favourite.

Your group at IEM European Finals are considered by many as the group of death. Which teams do you think will advance?

SK and ourselves are "certain" but it is really a tough group and if one of us doesn't hit the day we can see SK and mTw in the buttom.
